“Elegant, subtle nose, revealing aromas of white fruits with delicate citrus notes. Intense and powerful on the palat. The vibrant and flavourful fruits reveal balance, freshness and a fine touch of grapefruit, providing a pleasant and long-lasting finish. This wine clearly expresses the finesse and complexity that we aim for. Serve between 6°-8°C (43°-46°F).”-Winemaker Notes

“In 1970, Enrique Forner founded Marqués de Cáceres Unión Vitivinícola S.A., a historic alliance of growers in the village of Cenicero in the Rioja Alta subregion of Rioja. The enterprising Forner family has been devoted to the wine trade for five generations. Their search for the best vine growers and vineyards in Rioja and the introduction of a Bordeaux concept revolutionized the production and business model of the region. They work with one single objective: producing the highest quality wines. Today this obsession continues to be the leitmotif of Cristina Forner, the fifth generation of this distinguished wine family.”-Winery Notes

"An unusual and very interesting wine, with some depth and complexity. I understand that Verdejo develops with a few years of aging in bottle, but it is already a bargain and a nice change of pace from more common varieties."

Grandma's table wine
"I have never tried Verdejo and this bottle was a turn off. I cannot pinpoint any flavors other than it tastes like boxed wine before they started taking decent wines and putting them in boxes. Husband tried it too and also did not like it. We tossed it."
