"Floral and briny notes accent the peach, green apple and mango flavors in this bright, fruity white. Racy citrusy acidity keeps this fresh and vibrant. Clean and focused. "

"Albarino has been very trendy for nearly a decade, and Martin Codax’s 2013 Burgans Albarino is one of the better efforts. This 100% Albarino aged in stainless steel with lees stirring comes from a steep hillside, inland site that is harvested three to four weeks later than most of the coastal Albarinos. A custom cuvee put together by Eric Solomon, it offers crisp, fresh, lively honeysuckle, white peach and apricot notes, medium-bodied, dry flavors, and lots of fruit and perfume. It is a perfect foil for all types of seafood. Consume it over the next year. "
"Martín Códax Rias Baixas Albarino is delicate and medium-bodied with a crisp, dry finish. Flavors of ripe apple, peach, pear and lemon zest are framed by bright minerality and hints of spice. This Albarino displays intense floral aromas and an attractive acidity, making it a versatile, food-friendly wine." ~ Winery notes
