This single vineyard Zinfandel from Paso Robles represents one of the finest values in a big Zin that we have seen. The individual vineyard designation is "the Sugar Mountain Vineyard", so the winemaker Christian Garvin asked the property owner if Neil Young was the inspiration for the moniker. He replied, "who is Neil Young?" but in Spanish. Until someone from the Neil Young camp decides to make waves, we will simply enjoy the irony!
