“This elegant Nebbiolo takes it name from the vineyard where it is produced, Vigna Botti, located in Dogliani, under the appellation Langhe DOC. The name Botti means “barrels” in Italian and refers to the aging of the wine, which takes place in big oak casks of 25 Hl.”
“ Bright ruby red color. The bouquet on the nose is very elegant, with intense aromas of cherry, violet, raspberry and black currant, together with licorice and balsamic sensations. The sip confirms the elegance and aromas perceived on the nose, its characterized by a good freshness, medium body, and a long fruity finish. Ideal with pasta and risotto recipes, white and red grilled meat and medium aged cheeses.”~Winery Notes
PeccheninoView all from Pecchenino
The Pecchenino family has worked in viticultural for over four generations and made the leap from small wine production to a winery of international recognition under the brothers Orlando and Attilio Pecchenino. Today, Pecchenino consists of 54 acres in Dogliani and an additional seven acres in Monforte. Focused on the production of high-quality Dolcetto, Nebbiolo and a few other select varietals, Pecchenino's vines are painstakingly cared for by hand. In addition to its consistent high quality, Pecchenino distinguishes itself by being the only winery to produce Dolcetto aged in oak, resulting in Dolcetto wines with an aging potential of over 10 years.
