“Fresh, bright and earthy with blackberry, raspberry and spice; balanced and long. 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Cinsault.”

"Looking at the reds and also a solid value that delivers ample fruit and texture, the 2012 Famille Perrin Cotes Du Rhone Reserve is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre, with the Grenache coming from plots close to the estate and the Syrah from a cooler terroir in Vinsobres. Really showing the Syrah component, with meaty black fruits, chalky minerality, tobacco and herbs, this medium-bodied, rich and textured 2012 has juicy acidity and solid purity of fruit. Drink it over the coming 2-3 years. Drink now-2017."D~JD
"A beautiful deep red hue that seems almost opaque. The nose shows caramel and spices that mingle with red berry fruit. The palate is full and deep, with fine tannins and good length. " ~ Winery notes
Perrier & FilsView all from Perrier & Fils
Founded in 1853. Gilbert Perrier and his son are the fifth and sixth generation to make wine in this picturesque Alpine region. The domaine has slowly expanded over the generations, but maintaining quality has always been the priority. Vineyard work is sustainable; grapes are hand-harvested and gently vinified in stainless steel tanks.
The wines are classic, crisp, and pure Savoie character.
