The Perrins manage all of the vineyards used to source this wine, which include Vinsobres for Syrah (20), Orange (Prbois) for Grenache (60) and Saint-Maurice for Mourvdre (20). Cherries and raspberries ride on a medium to full-bodied palate, backed by a plump mouthfeel and silky tannins on the finish. The 2018 Ctes du Rhne Rserve will be ready to drink on release, but it should hold up for at least 3-4 years after that.-RP
Classic Ctes du Rhne. Fruity and fleshy with beautiful tannins, its a great everyday wine made almost exclusively from our Grand Prbois vineyards (for the Grenache) and our Vinsobres vineyards (for the Syrah). A beautiful wine you should always have around!-Winemaker Notes
Famille Perrins involvement in the wine trade can be traced back to 1909 with the purchase of Chteau de Beaucastel. Today the 5th generation of the family is involved in every aspect of the business. Famille Perrins range of wines enable you to discover the richness and diversity of the Southern Rhne Valley. It is no coincidence that Famille Perrin is the leading organic wine grower of the Southern Rhne Valley, where they occupy the regions best terroirs. Their values have given them a worldwide reputation for excellence: absolute respect for the soil, a commitment to manual methods, and a deep belief that organic viticulture is the only way to express the true essence of the terroir. Nature and tradition are key to the Famille Perrin approach, which has continued seamlessly over five generations.-Winery Notes
Perrier & FilsView all from Perrier & Fils
Founded in 1853. Gilbert Perrier and his son are the fifth and sixth generation to make wine in this picturesque Alpine region. The domaine has slowly expanded over the generations, but maintaining quality has always been the priority. Vineyard work is sustainable; grapes are hand-harvested and gently vinified in stainless steel tanks.
The wines are classic, crisp, and pure Savoie character.
