Pierre Usseglio 'Tradition' Chateauneuf du Pape 2018
Wine Advocate 90-93
"Almost painfully intense and concentrated, the 2018 Chateauneuf du Pape hints at blueberries, but it's largely embryonic, with undifferentiated dark fruit and dried spices. Full-bodied, firm and astringent on the finish, it shows an abnormal amount of structure for a 2018. From yields of 15 hectoliters per hectare, it's a foudre-aged blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre and 5% Cinsault." August 2019
