“The 2019 Santa Tresa Purato Rosé is wonderfully fresh and lifted, as ripe green melon is complemented by citrus-tinged minerals and a hint of honey and hazelnut. It washes across the senses effortlessly with a mix of ripe orchard fruits over a core of brisk acids building inner floral tones toward the close. The finish is medium in length, subtly spicy, and fresh with a hint of lime.”~EG
"This rosè is made with certified organic Nero d'Avola grapes. No artificial fertilizers or pesticides are used in the vineyards. A "sexual confusion" pheromone technique and limited treatments of copper and sulphur prevent pest damage. In order to preserve valuable water, undersoil irrigation is used to minimize evaporation. Purato's environmental commitment extends into the winery. Purato uses eco-friendly packaging, made with recycled paper, pure vegetable ink on the labels and 85% recycled glass for the bottle."
"Bright pink color. A highly characterful bright rosè, with tons of fresh red berry fruit aromas and flavors. Extremely pleasant, fresh and smooth sip. Lively and vibrant, it's perfect as an aperitif or a great choice with prawns."~Winery Notes

Purato is a line of certified organic wines from Vittoria in southern SicilyThe vineyards and winery have undergone strenuous controls into to obtain organic certification from Bioagricert, whose certifications are recognized in the United States. Purato celebrates the regions unique micorclimate and extensive winemaking history. Lying close to the Mediterranean, Purato's vineyards benefit from cooling sea breezes.
