Item Description

"Until recently If you wanted to try a truly great Pomegranate wine, you would have to take the small hop, skip and a jump to Armenia.
Since thats not exactly a stop on most peoples weekend itinerary, the folks at ReVah Pomegranate Wine found a way to bring it to you. If you are expecting a super sweet, syrupy, fermented Kool-Aid like wine you will need to look elsewhere, as this wine is anything but. Its an intriguing balance of flavors from pomegranate to cranberry to cardamom, strawberry, clove and cinnamon.
Its great all by itself served slightly chilled like a red, or to accent foods that have a slight kick to them. Grilled or BBQ, or autumn dishes like roast turkey or butternut squash work great!
If you want to get daring with your next wine choice and try something different, but good very good be sure to pick up a bottle of ReVah Pomegranate Wine.

Maryjean Halpin

ReVah semi sweet Armenian Pomegranate wine

"I have been buying ReVah (and before that, the same wine under the name Ararat) exclusively, since around 2008. It's the ONLY wine I buy and drink (unless I"m forced to drink something else at a restaurant). For a couple of years, I could not find it locally and ordered online. Now, I am ecstatic that it is back and easier to find!!! I am down to my last two bottles and will soon be ordering another case from you! I also LOVE the history behind the area in the Ararat Mountains of Armenia where it comes from. https://www.peopleofar.com/2013/08/11/noahsarkinthemountainsofarmenia/"

A Very Good Wine

"I am not a typical wine connoisseur. In fact, I really don't like wine in general. However, the Revah pomegranate wine is excellent and I really like it."
