"A 100% varietal wine, this is an impressive effort, mingling together rich and forward flavors of blackberry cobbler and chocolate around a softly layered yet richly woven core of concentration and power. Decadent, it finishes with a welcoming smoky hint."

"Stewart's 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is a gorgeous wine that will appeal most to readers who enjoy unctuous, full-throttle Cabernets. Racy, powerful and intense with loads of dark cherry, mocha and exotic spice flavors, shows the most sumptuous side of the vintage. As is so often the case, the Stewart Cabernet is flamboyant yet also well-proportioned. -- Antonio Galloni"

"Plenty of blackberry, walnut and burnt orange peel follow through to a full body, firm tannins and a juicy finish. Drink or hold."
" The grapes for this wine were farmed and picked on a row-by-row basis to ensure optimal ripeness. The fruit was then hand sorted and whole berry fermented in small lots. Aged in barrel for 22 months, this wine was neither fined nor filtered prior to bottling. " ~ Winery notes
"At Stewart Cellars, it's the quest that drives us. The quest for the ideal site, for consistently lush fruit, for the like-minded grower who labors towards the perfect expression of a given vintage. We build lasting relationships with vineyard owners and together with the help of our consulting winemaker Paul Hobbs we test the limits of what an exceptional patch of soul can yield. Our requirement for the resulting win is simple: it must deliver beyond expectation every time.
Stewart Cellars begins and ends with family. We are dedicated to making something tangible and enduring, something expressive of each person's gifts. Stewart was started in the year 2000 by Anne and Michael Stewart. Michael Stewart is very much the entrepreneur. Anne is the food and wine connoisseur who loves introducing people to our wines. James Stewart manages the day to day operations of Stewart Cellars and thrives on the complexity of running all aspects of the business. Caroline Stewart is honing her skills as she follows the world's harvest seasons preparing herself to take the Stewart family into the future as winemaker." --James Stewart
