"Not as upfront nor charming as the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa, the sensational 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Nomad is a hussy of a wine, It boasts an opaque purple color as well as a sexy perfume of camphor, barbecue smoke, blackberries, cassis and graphite. Full-bodied and concentrated with decent acidity, high but sweet, well-integrated tannins and a multidimensional mid-palate and finish, this exquisite Cabernet Sauvignon can be drunk over the next 15+ years.
This small, high quality boutique producer makes Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Russian River area as well as some exceptionally fine Cabernet Sauvignon from various vineyards in Napa."

"Sleek and stylish, with refined, ripe and complex wild berry, raspberry, mineral, graphite, tar and black licorice flavors. Full-bodied, firming on the finish, where the tannins gain traction. Best from 2011 through 2018. 248 cases made."
" This is a dark, plush wine with an entire impression of richness and silk. The powerful, complex aroma has berries and mint slowly emerging among notes of pencil box, graphite and classy, well- integrated French oak. Dark purple in color, the wine is dense and round with youthful but very fine tannins completely knit into the core of the wine’s structure, without angles or grit. The flavors are subtle and complex, with dark berries, cocoa, the very fine oak and a little herb seamlessly.
" This is a deep, superbly balanced young Cabernet Sauvignon showing the ripe fruit characteristic of the best Napa Valley vineyards, heightened in this bottling by a particularly great vintage. The well-ripened grapes have been handled carefully to extract the best of the flavors and structural components, creating a powerful, complex, delicious wine. The wine is deep purple, nearly opaque, and has a huge aroma of black plums and berries, augmented with subtle notes of roasted meat and smoke. Richness, density and impeccable balance are the first impressions in the mouth. The flavors follow exactly from the aroma, showing a dark, powerful and seamlessly woven blend of black fruit and smoky, savory notes. It finishes very long, with plush texture underlain by just a touch of young tannins at the very end. The stuffing is there for years of development that will reward patient cellaring." ~ wINERY NOTES
