Influenced by his international experience and two decades of winemaking on Long Island, Russel's ideas showcase the unique characteristics of New York grapes. At Suhru, we make wine from grapes chosen from select vineyards in regions where the vines and fruit grow best-Riesling from the Finger Lakes region and Gewurztraminer, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Pinot Grigio grown on the North Fork of Long Island. Applying the winemaker's artistry, Russel blends different grapes with results greater than the sum of its parts. Made with passion and finesse, the Suhru brand is an eclectic collection of wines.
