"Wonderful aromas of ripe fruit such as plums, and grilled meat. Then it shows fresh soil and sliced mushroom. Full body with super-silky tannins and beautiful fruit. Balanced and spicy on the finish. A beauty. Drink or hold."~J.S.

"Aromas and flavors of underbrush augment the cherry and strawberry flavors in this supple, delicate red. Balanced in a linear, tensile way, picking up mineral accents on the lingering, mouthwatering finish. Best from 2019 through 2035. 316 cases made."~BS

Mario Bollag's 2010 Brunello di Montalcino does a great job of presenting bold fruit flavors with bright cherry and redcurrant in pole position. The delivery is also of special note: The wine feels exceedingly smooth and silky on the close with fresh acidity and loads of berry freshness. It presents a very appealing style with streamlined intensity that is both bright and long lasting. Among the many Brunello wines on the market today, this one will appeal to those who appreciate a finer, more feminine expression."~M.L.

"Aromas of violet, plum, savory herb and a hint of toasted oak lead the nose. The rich palate delivers ripe wild cherry, crushed raspberry, coffee, vanilla and mocha alongside velvety tannins. It's ripe, round and already almost accessible. Drink 2017–2025."~K.O.
Terralsole "Land Toward the Sun" was established in 1996 and is owned and operated by Mario Bollag and his beautiful wife Athena Tergis. Terrasole was the answer to a lifelong dream, giving Mario the outlet to combine a passion for fine wine and winemaking with his love of painting and music. This passion can not only be seen within the award-winning Brunello di Montalcino's that are produced here but also in the labels that grace the Terralsole wines. The harmony, balance and arctic expression that is found in other areas of their lives shines through in the wines that are produced here at Terralsole. For over 20 years Mario has produced award-winning Brunello's with amazing balance and structure by using sustainable practices and natural viticulture, including organic fertilizers and cover crops in the keeping with the philosophy of the estate. We are very happy to announce after applying for our Organic Certification in 2015 as of the spring of 2018 the property will be classified 100% ORGANIC.
