Great House Red!

"Look no further than this value french blend when looking for a house red.I'm not sure that I agree that it drinks like a $15 Cotes du Rhone. It's not as sophisticated. But with an appropriate decanting, it calms down nicely and is thoroughly enjoyable. Robust to the end. Rather Australian in a fruit-forward sense.I bought a case of this, and feel no qualms about pulling out a bottle to have with dinner, or while watching a ballgame.I like drinking the Cercius, as well as the Grand Veneur rhone blends. Both are very good values. But at this more affordable price point, I haven't found a better option."

Beautiful for the price

"$9? Hard for me to ever get excited at that range, but this drinks like a $15 Cotes du Rhone, but better because it's more muscular"

Ben

excellent value

"Had this with dinner last night at the Cock & Bull in Galway. The description is spot on."

Tastes slighty better than it smells

"I understand different opinions, I bought this wine noting the W.S. 90 rating - but am lost how it received that rating. We are happy we opened it on a random night and not on a night with guests, I would have been embarrassed. No other way to put it, it has a moldy old building smell."

No Value if I don't like it

"I agree…I can't wait until this bottle is gone. I'm thinking of putting it down the drain. The bite is harsh and I'm not inclined to drink the whole bottle looking for something positive in this bottle!"

Richard

Hate the taste of this wine

"was happy when the bottle was over so I don't have to drink this again."
