James Suckling 89
"Aromas of green apple, thyme and rosemary. Medium-bodied. Straightforward, with a soft finish. Drink now. Screw cap."
The grapes for The Pinot Project Pinot Grigio are harvested from the prestigious growing region of Veneto, Italy. The clay and limestone soils and temperate climate are ideal for producing wines with great natural acidity. After the grapes are crushed and skins are removed, the grape must settles and temperature-controlled fermentation occurs in stainless steel. The wine is completely unoaked to maintain freshness.
The Pinot Project began in 2009 with a vision: a wine for the palate, the pocket, and the people. Michael and Harmon Skurnik reached out to their friends in California’s Coastal Regions to help them craft a silky, fruit-forward, and well-balanced Pinot Noir. Since then, The Pinot Project has taken the wine world by storm! With their runaway success, the team has added a Pinot Grigio from Italy, and a Rosé of Pinot Noir from France to the line-up. The wines are also available in cans and kegs.
The Pinot Project is widely recognized as one of the best wine values in the world. Named by Shanken’s Impact as a “Hot Prospect” brand in 2018 and 2019, the wines consistently score above 90 points from major wine publications. With more than a decade of consistent growth, The Pinot Project is truly a wine for all occasions

The Pinot Project began in 2009 with a vision: a wine for the palate, the pocket, and the people. Renowned wine importer Michael Skurnik called on his experiences in the vineyards and cellars of Northern California to craft a silky, fruit-forward, and harmonious Pinot Noir. Since then, The Pinot Project has taken the wine world by storm.
Mission accomplished! The Pinot Project has accomplished its goal of being one of the greatest wine values in the world; with delicious numbers coming out of California and Italy. After the success of the Pinot Noir, the brand has added a California Chardonnay called "The Chard Project," a Pinot Project Pinot Grigio from Italy, and the latest addition, a delicious Rosé!
