"A dense, chewy style, with apple, pear and spice flavors supported by vivid acidity and a chalky sensation. A cleansing wave of acidity frames the finish. Best from 2018 through 2025. 4,000 cases made."

Vins Auvigue

Vins AuvigueVins Auvigue is a 6th generation family estate spanning 16.25 acres and residing in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. It faces the majestic Roche de Solutré which is pictured on the labels of all of their wines. Five of the 16 acres have been farmed organically for over 20 years in the Mâcon-Solutré and Pouilly-Fuissé appellations. The estate, which boasts a lengthy, thriving history as both a producer and a vintner, has received worldwide recognition for its acclaimed Mâcon wines. Vines are cared for with minimal intervention and vigilantly monitored to ensure that the soil receives all it requires in as precise a timeframe as feasible. Grapes that do not stem from the estate are rigorously selected from the best plots in the Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran and Mâcon appellations.

Richard

We had it with lobster and it was great

Robert

Good, not great

Nariaki

"Good white wine."

Pamela

Good wine

"I didn't think the goodness of the wine was worth the price."

David

Reasonably priced from a good vintage

"It's more and more difficult to find a tasty wine reasonably priced in the Maconnais, especially from good vintages. This wine does all that. Some minerality is evident with a delicate peach-like fruit flavor. Three bottles consumed over 2 months are consistently the same."

John

Very pleasant tongue and taste

Jim

Not the 2014

Paul

Nothing special

"This is the only wine that I bought from Empire and did not recommend."
