William Fevre's Champs Royaux Chablis is impressively precise, delivering a nose of citrus fruits, flowers, green apple and flinty flavors of wet stone in the mid-palate with a beautifully clean finish. Fresh, supple, it is marked by mineral notes, typical of the appellation.
A perfect accompaniment for shellfish menus, grilled fish, oysters, and sushi - but would also work well with many roast chicken recipes seasoned with fresh herbs such as thyme or tarragon.-WE

COMMENTARY: The William Fvre Champs Royaux Chablis has always been built for success, and the 2018 vintage is on cue. TASTING NOTES: This wine is wild, tart, and crisp. Enjoy its beautifully appointed aromas and flavors of green apples and wild herbs with sardines on a toasted baguette. (Tasted: November 20, 2019, San Francisco, CA)-WW

Clean and balanced, this white offers white peach, apple and floral aromas and flavors. A hint of mineral graces the mouthwatering finish.-WS

Founded in 1959, Domaine William Fvre is at the very heart of the Chablis vineyards. Since its founding, Domaine William Fvre has been taken up with the desire to produce indisputable genuine and fine wines, bringing along a very personal experience in Chardonnay. All the efforts have but one goal to finely express the subtle most variations in the greatest Chablis crus. Today, Domaine William Fvre is one of the most established and renowned estates in Chablis. Domaine William Fvre joined the Henriot family portfolio in 1998.-Winery Notes

In my 20 years with William Fvre, I have aimed at crafting wines that fully express the terroir of Chablis through the use of organic and biodynamic viticulture and meticulous care in the vineyards. Minerality is a Chablis trademark and it shines through with a thousand nuances in each of our wines. Didier Sguier, William Fvre Director & Cellar Master

William Fevre Champs Royaux

"Yes. But I would recommend purchasing it from a store other than Empire. I purchased many cases but decided recently to look elsewhere because the price was raised so dramatically. It can be found in other stores for much much less."

Andrew

"Good value for a very distinctly stoney Chablis flavor. Crisp and dry."

Tom

"Great everyday wine"

David

"Classic Chablis flavor."
