Ben Riggs & Tony Parkinson, after successfully establishing the two top McLaren Vale wineries Penny's Hill & Mr. Riggs, set their sites on world of value wines. The Limestone Coast and Langhorne Creek are on the up and up and they have taken advantage of the great fruit coming out of a few well established vineyards in these regions. Along with fruit from the Angas vineyard in Langhorne Creek and the Wirrega Vineyard in Limestone Coast they also source from some of their own McLaren Vale vineyards and a few older vineyards in Padthaway. Their goal was top quality wines but at affordable prices and to do this they have kept the same strict rules that they apply to their high end wines; low yields, relatively smaller production and minimal intervention in the winery.
